Preschool Program

Nurturing Curiosity, Creativity, and Confidence (Three’s & Four’s)

At Bright Beginnings, we believe that every moment is an opportunity for learning. That’s why our preschool program weaves together play, exploration, and gentle guidance to create meaningful experiences. Through a blend of child-led activities and thoughtfully planned lessons, we help children develop essential skills while celebrating their natural sense of wonder.

Whole-Child Curriculum

From stories and songs to open-ended projects and nature walks, preschoolers at Bright Beginnings learn through play, creativity, and connection.

Our Preschool Curriculum includes math, science, literacy, Spanish, yoga, gardening, and music appreciation—woven into play-based exploration. Journals and portfolios track each child’s growth and creative journey, allowing us to support them as individuals.

Outdoor Time and Sensory Play

We believe the outdoors is an extension of the classroom. Children spend time outside daily—exploring nature, gardening, and taking learning to our picnic tables. These outdoor experiences help children build coordination, awareness, and connection to the world around them.

A Reggio Emilia-Inspired Approach

Our classrooms follow a Reggio-inspired model that nurtures each child's natural interests and questions. Teachers observe, listen, and extend learning using the environment and children’s ideas as key tools. Your preschooler's voice helps shape the flow of each day.

Literature-Rich Learning

Quality children’s literature is central to our preschool experience. Books are read and re-read throughout the day to build vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence. Children love returning to familiar stories, and our bi-monthly Bookmobile visits bring even more excitement around reading.

A Strong Partnership With Families

We believe family involvement enhances preschool success. Each month, you’ll receive a calendar that gives insight into classroom themes and learning goals—making it easier to connect with your child about their day.
