Connecting Parents to Their Child’s Day with Tadpoles
At Bright Beginnings, we’ve always prioritized strong communication between parents and our school. For years, we relied on handwritten daily reports to share details about your child’s day—notes that were carefully handed to Mommy or Daddy at pick-up. However, these paper notes didn’t always make it home, and parents would often ask, “Do you have an extra copy of our child’s daily note?”
To ensure that important updates were never lost in the shuffle, we decided it was time for an upgrade.
In 2014, we introduced Tadpoles, a web- and app-based software that allows teachers to share electronic updates, photos, and reminders with parents throughout the day. The response was overwhelming—parents absolutely loved it! Now, they can’t imagine preschool life without the instant updates and photos that keep them connected to their child’s experiences.
With Tadpoles, our teachers can:
Share photos and descriptions of daily curriculum activities.
Provide updates on who your child played with and what they learned.
Send reminders about upcoming events—all in one streamlined system.
Personalized Portfolios
One of the standout features of Tadpoles is the Portfolio system. Each child has their own customized Portfolio, where teachers can save photos and notes documenting classroom experiences and developmental milestones. This tool not only tracks progress but also enhances parent-teacher conferences by providing a comprehensive record of your child’s growth.
Sharing the Joy
Another parent-favorite feature is the ability to share classroom photos with grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other loved ones. Parents control this feature, ensuring that only photos—not daily updates—are shared.
At Bright Beginnings, we know that effective communication sets the tone for parent involvement and creates a foundation for a positive school experience—not just in preschool, but for years to come. With Tadpoles, we’re proud to provide a seamless and meaningful way to stay connected with your child’s day.
